Game Title: Echoes of Elarion

โœ… Todayโ€™s Accomplishments:

  • โš”๏ธ Combat System Implemented

    • Enemy AI now attacks and can kill the player.

    • Player can attack and defeat enemy AI.

    • Default weapons on spawn:

      • Player: Sword

      • Enemy: Mace

    • Both characters have multiple attack animations using arrays.

    • Health and damage systems fully functional for both player and enemy.

  • ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ Player Movement & Animation

    • Full movement system: walk (W) and sprint (Left Shift).

    • Smooth transitions between idle, walking, and running animations.

  • ๐ŸŽฎ HUD & Inventory

    • Main player HUD now active.

    • Health bar is working.

    • Inventory system with 4 slots added.

  • ๐Ÿงช Tutorial Level Nearly Complete

    • Tutorial map layout finalized.

    • Combat tutorial section teaches basic attack, ragdoll physics, and movement.

  • ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Live 3D Main Menu Update

    • Implemented a live 3D main menu scene.

    • Enemy bot now appears in the background behind the player character, adding life and style to the title screen.

๐Ÿ”œ Coming Soon:

  • ๐Ÿงจ Grenades

    • Explosive throwable in development.

    • Will damage enemies and send them flying upon detonation.

  • ๐Ÿค– AI Companion

    • Companion system (pet or humanoid) coming soon.

    • Will help in combat, healing, and support roles.

  • ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Inventory Expansion

    • Ground Pickups: Loot items from enemies and the environment.

    • Store Pickups: Purchase items from in-game shops.

  • ๐Ÿ’ฐ Currency / Coin System

    • Earn and spend coins in-game.

    • Will be tied to the store and upgrade systems.

  • ๐Ÿ“œ Quests & Dialogue

    • Planning stage for NPC interaction and quest systems.

    • Will begin implementation after more core systems are complete.

This helps track the gameโ€™s growth day by day while keeping things transparent and real.
